Privacy policy
Last updated: October 31, 2026
This policy covers VocaFlare Exam (exam.vocaflare.com) and purchases made on it. VocaFlare Exam is a Judgeson Studio product. We collect as little data as we can.
What we collect
- If you create an account: your email address and sign-in details (we never store your password in plain text; with Google sign-in, the name and email Google provides).
- Tests you take: your answers, score, attempt number, start and end time, whether time ran out, and how many times you left the screen during the test.
- For a free test taken without an account: a random key generated by your browser. The server stores only a hash of it, not the key itself.
- When you buy: email, country, order details and which test you bought.
- If you make your result record public: the display name you choose.
- Server and security logs: IP address, browser and requested page.
How we use it
There are no ads or analytics tools on the site.
- To run the test, calculate your score and show solutions.
- To unlock the test you bought in your account and give support.
- To show your result record to people with the link, if you made it public.
- To measure test difficulty; the public figures on a test page use only first attempts, at least 20 people and no identities.
- To keep the site running and protect it from abuse.
Result record
Your result record is private by default. If you make it public, anyone with the link sees your display name and all your tests and attempts; your email is never shown. You can hide it at any time. Result records are closed to search engines.
Cookies and local storage
Your sign-in session, theme and language, the key for tests taken without an account and the answers of an unfinished test are kept on your device (cookies and local storage). You can clear them in your browser settings; doing so removes the unfinished test and account-free attempts on that device.
Purchases
Purchases are processed by our payment partner, acting as seller of record, which handles payment and taxes. We receive your email, country and order details. We never see your card details.
Who else processes your data
We do not sell your personal data.
- Our payment partner, for purchases.
- Google, if you sign in with Google.
- Our hosting provider, for servers and network.
Where your data is processed
Your data may be processed outside your country, including in the European Union and the United States.
How long we keep it
- Account and test records are kept while your account exists; attempts are not deleted one by one so the result record stays honest.
- Purchase records are kept as long as needed for support and legal obligations.
- Server and security logs are kept for a short time.
Your rights
You can ask to see or correct the personal data we hold about you, or to delete it along with your account. Write to us and we will reply as soon as we can.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
